# Advertise to developers in Claude Code

Adorably is a mod for Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding agent. While a developer works, Ado, a small fairy, shows a perk when their project needs that kind of product: more credits, a longer trial or a discount. Your perk is labeled Sponsored, and you pay only when a developer claims it.

## How it works

1.  The mod reads a developer’s dependency files and config names on their machine and turns them into tags such as `nodemailer` or `has:email`. Their code, prompts and file paths never reach Adorably unless they turn on online mode.
2.  When a project’s tags match your offer, Ado shows your card in Claude Code: your company, the value and one line, labeled Sponsored.
3.  The developer claims it. Your claim handler, a short piece of JavaScript we run once per claim, gives them a personal signup link or trial. If they choose to share it, the claim carries an email address they verified.

## What you get, and what you don’t

-   Each claim gives you a claim id and, if the developer confirms sharing it, an email they verified. Without one, your handler doesn’t run and they get your plain landing page.
-   You never get their code, files, prompts or dependency list. Matching runs on their machine.
-   When a developer presses Explain, your explanation code gets only the stack tags shown on the button, like `has:vercel`.

## Pay per claim, like a referral program

-   You set the price per claim, at least $2. You can add a price per activation, billed when your backend redeems the code that came with a claim.
-   Your balance is prepaid through Stripe, with top-ups from $100.
-   After your first full month there is a $99 monthly minimum, and your claim charges count toward it.
-   Repeat claims, and claims from brand-new installs or from a network making many claims, aren’t billed. Claims we later find aren’t real developers are credited back within 7 days.
-   Founding sponsors (20 spots) prepay $1,000 a month for 3 months, all of it balance, with claims locked at $2 for 12 months.

## Make your case

Your code asks a model we host why you fit their stack better than what they use now, and you show the answer only if you like it. It appears as “From _your company_ (sponsored)”.

## The rules

-   Relevance decides what is shown. Your price only breaks a tie between offers that match a project equally well.
-   Every offer is moderated, and a person reviews your first offer before it goes live.
-   The best offers are exclusive to Adorably: better than what your public pricing page gives.
-   No crypto, gambling, adult content, consumer finance, “make money” schemes or resold VPNs.
